Job summary

City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) is seeking a motivated cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness in patient and communal areas at Holy Name Community Rehabilitation Centre, Hull. The role focuses on hygiene, safe cleaning practices and dignity for patients within a busy NHS-adjacent environment.

You will work as part of a care team, contribute to quality improvements, and ensure a welcoming service for patients while adhering to COSHH and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 in cleaning or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Basic food hygiene training.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and COSHH regulations and safe working practices.
• Previous experience in cleaning role, and a healthcare setting.
• To maintain records.
• NHS experience.
• Experience of working with the general public.

Job overview

Working with a supportive care team, you’ll help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment so that people receiving care can feel comfortable and supported. You’ll play an important role in maintaining high standards across the service, helping to ensure patients receive care in a hygienic and well-organised setting. As part of a wider healthcare team, you’ll work closely with colleagues and respond to the changing needs of the service.

Main duties of the job
