Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers in Birmingham area is recruiting an experienced Domestic Appliance Engineer to join our service network across the West Midlands, diagnosing faults and delivering high-quality repairs to customers in their homes.

This Monday–Friday role offers up to eight hours per day, with a fully maintained company vehicle for business and private use, plus a fuel card and ongoing training to keep skills current across multiple brands.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience repairing and diagnosing domestic white goods in a field service environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across laundry, dishwashing and electric cooking appliances.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers' homes to diagnose faults and carry out high-quality repairs on a range of domestic appliances.
• Work across multiple appliance brands to restore full functionality for customers.

The opportunity:

Due to continued growth across our white goods service network, we are looking to recruit an experienced Domestic Appliance Engineer to join our team covering the West Midlands.

This is a Monday to Friday role with a maximum eight-hour working day, offering the opportunity to work independently while providing first-class service to customers in their own homes.

The role:

Working across the West Midlands, you will visit customers' homes to diagnose faults and carry out high-quality repairs on a range of domestic appliances.

This is a multi-brand role covering electric appliances, including:

• Washing machines
• Dishwashers
• Tumble dryers
• Electric cookers

What we're looking for:

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• At least two years' experience repairing and diagnosing domestic white goods in a field service environment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across laundry, dishwashing and electric cooking appliances
• A commitment to delivering high-quality repairs and excellent customer service
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
