The Domestic Abuse Service Manager will lead the operational delivery, development and quality assurance of domestic abuse services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. The role will oversee safe accommodation, community and outreach services supporting adults and children affected by domestic abuse.
Key responsibilities include managing and supporting employees, workers and volunteers, overseeing caseloads, risk assessments and safeguarding, ensuring high-quality and trauma-informed service delivery, and maintaining compliance with contractual, safeguarding and quality standards.
The postholder will act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, lead on safeguarding and health and safety, and represent the service at multi-agency forums including MARAC and safeguarding meetings. They will also develop partnerships with statutory and voluntary agencies, lead training and awareness activity, and contribute to service development and organisational learning.
The role will have responsibility for monitoring, evaluation, data analysis and reporting, including preparing reports for commissioners and funders and using service data and feedback to drive continuous improvement. The postholder will also support budget management, funding applications and tender submissions.
