Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Domain Architect – Digital Backbone and Digital Employee Experience to own the target architecture, multi‑year roadmap and investment story across the Digital Backbone and Digital Workplace estates.

You will work with senior stakeholders to define reference patterns, govern designs and lead architectural discussions across domains, ensuring secure, scalable and affordable solutions while balancing run‑costs and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on domain architecture experience across hosting, networking, cloud or digital workplace.
• Proven multi-year technology roadmap ownership with funded delivery.
• Experience turning demand into investable architectural items.
• Familiarity with TOGAF/Archimate or equivalent methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the target state for both domains and translate it into a funded multi-year roadmap.
• Define and maintain architecture across Digital Workplace, Network and Hosting, Cloud and Hybrid, and Platform Engineering.
• Maintain a baseline of the current estate and ensure landscape models reflect reality.
• Contribute to architecture governance forums and ensure designs are secure and affordable.
• Lead domain architecture community of practice and mentor other architects.
