Job summary

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in Old Windsor is seeking a Rehoming & Welfare Assistant to provide the highest standards of animal husbandry, care and enrichment for dogs in our care.

You will maintain kennels cleanliness, feed, water, and enrich dogs, support behavioural and medical needs, and keep accurate animal records while reviewing procedures to ensure excellent care. Interviews are in person on 2 December 2026; start date 11 January 2027; CVs not accepted due to anonymised shortlisting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure kennels meet high standards of cleanliness (dogs in care)
• Provide dogs with correct food, water and enrichment
• Support dogs' behavioural and medical needs
