Job summary

North Yorkshire Centre for Independent Living is seeking a part-time Personal Care Assistant to care for a gentleman with advanced MS. The role requires on-site work in Seamer, with a minimum of 16 hours per week and a rotating schedule including weekdays and occasional evenings. A DBS check is required; training for hoist use will be provided.

Experience in care, moving and handling is preferred. The rate of pay is £13.79 per hour, with dogs in the home.

Qualifications

• Care Work experience of 1 year preferred.
• Moving & Handling experience of 1 year preferred.
• Hoist/moving & handling experience preferred, not essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to a gentleman with advanced MS.
• Assist with mobility and movement including hoist use as required.
• Follow a rota; minimum 16 hours per week; on-site in Seamer; DBS required.
