Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a Personal Care Assistant for a gentleman in Leeds (LS17) to work part-time and support independent living. The role covers personal care, domestic tasks, and helping remain independent, with a schedule of 15 hours per week and a rate of £12 per hour.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, discreet, and comfortable with a family environment. DBS checks are required or encouraged, and the position offers flexible mornings. Training and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass DBS (exCRB) checks.
• The applicant should reside within 30 minutes of my home.
• Experience and qualifications desirable (but not mandatory).
• Should like children and be able to assist with them if needed (I have two children).
• Comfortable with dogs.
• Good sense of humour and enjoy activities with me.

Responsibilities

• Dress and personal care assistance as needed.
• Walk the dog daily.
• Assist with routine household tasks to enable independent living (bed making, food prep, laundry, ironing, cleaning).
• Assist to transfer to wheelchair when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and respectful conduct.
