Job summary

Naughton Contracts Limited (NCL) is seeking a Document Controller to join our site team on an active data centre project in Cambois, Northumberland. You will manage drawing logs, RAMs, quality records, and correspondence to keep information accurate, version-controlled, and accessible to the project and commercial teams.

You'll maintain document registers, control file names, and support audits while liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in document control or admin in construction/civil engineering.
• Experience with document management systems (SharePoint, Viewpoint, Asite).
• Basic understanding of data protection and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, logging, distribution, and filing of project documents.
• Maintain document registers and ensure version control.
• Upload and organise documents in the DMS.
• Ensure documents are named and filed per standards.
• Track approval workflows and follow up on actions.
• Support audits with complete and accessible documentation.
• Assist with general admin to support the project team.
