Job summary

John Paul Construction is seeking a Document Controller for projects based in Newport. You will manage document control processes across the project lifecycle, ensuring accurate records and compliant workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in document control within the construction industry.
• Experience using Procore or similar document control software.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage high document volume.

Responsibilities

• Manage Procore for project lifecycle in line with digital delivery procedures.
• Liaise with Procore Committee and Support team frequently to review system adoption and compliance.
• Assist Design Co-ordinator in managing the workflow for the creation, distribution, and maintenance of project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
• Implement and maintain an efficient document control system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Monitor and enforce the use of correct naming convention according to the project Communication Protocol.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless flow of information and documentation.
• Manage document versioning to prevent errors and discrepancies in project documentation.
• Address queries and concerns related to document management, fostering a culture of compliance and efficiency.
