Job summary

Flogas is seeking a Document Controller to manage EPC contractor documentation and supplier paperwork for Phase 2. You will maintain electronic filing, numbering systems, and revision control, while ensuring approvals and purchase orders are processed efficiently.

The role supports the company’s shift toward renewable energy, with a focus on delivering quality documentation for brownfield site activities and supply chain coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a document control on major projects.
• Experience using control management systems such as Aconex, Viewpoint, ProArc etc.
• Awareness of ISO 9001 compliance is beneficial.
• Relevant HNC and/or diploma is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Manage electronic filing system for documents issued to Flogas.
• Allocate drawing and document numbering.
• Enforce document control procedures including numbering and revision control.
• Input supplier quotations and paperwork into Codas.
• Chase management approvals for supplier scopes.
• Generate PO paperwork to suppliers.

How you’ll power our business as a Document Controller

As a document controller, the primary purpose of your role is to manage EPC contractor documentation as part of our Phase 2 development that is ongoing.

The secondary purpose of the role is to manage documentation for supplier purchase orders to support brownfield activities at the site relating to Phase 2.

Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases. Here’s what you’ll be doing

• Management of electronic filing system for all documents formally issued to Flogas
• Allocation of drawing and document numbering
• Enforcement of document control procedures including numbering and revision control
• Inputting of supplier quotations and paperwork into Codas
• Chasing management approvals for supplier scopes
• Generation of PO paperwork to suppliers
