Job description

Seaway7 is seeking a Document Controller to join our team at the Aberdeen office on a full-time, staff basis.

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for preparing, distributing, and recording all project-related documents efficiently and promptly.

What will you be doing?
  • Set up the internal document management system for the project.
  • Review contractual requirements for document control.
  • Liaise with external clients to establish the Client document management system and arrange access for the project team.
  • Prepare, distribute, and record all project-related documents, including internal and subcontractor documentation.
  • Ensure the project team is aware of specific document control procedures, review cycles, approaching deadlines, and due dates.
  • Contribute to the development of the document control discipline within Seaway7.
  • Support the project team as a project secretary when required.
  • Coordinate and monitor supportive processes, including training team members on internal and client DMS.
What experience would we like you to have?
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience as a Document Controller within the energy industry.
  • Proven ability to manage documents, procedures, processes, and drawings.
  • Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (e.g., ProArc or similar).
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
