Job summary

Certinia is seeking a DocOps Engineer in the UK to bridge content and technology within our UX Content team. You will automate documentation workflows, manage content repositories, and drive scalable, efficient help systems.

Your role focuses on technical tooling rather than writing docs, enabling content writers to work more effectively. You will implement automated pipelines, support Git/XML processes, and collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Engineering to advance Docs as Code and AI-powered

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PowerShell scripts to automate complex tasks.
• Advanced Git experience, including branching, merging and resolving conflicts; Bitbucket familiarity.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on work with Jenkins in real workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing tooling and content/workflow issues.
• Familiarity with Jira for workflow management and software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts to automate documentation tasks.
• Implement and maintain automated documentation pipelines; integrate with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Provide technical support for Git-related issues and XML merge conflicts for the content team.
• Maintain automated testing and checks (XML formatting, linting) to ensure quality and accessibility.
• Serve as a technical liaison with IT, DevOps, and Engineering teams.
• Explore new tools and Docs as Code principles; champion AI-assisted enhancements to pipelines.
