Job summary

Quest Global in the United Kingdom is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead to support infrastructure and asset development at a major dockyard facility. You will lead the electrical discipline, interface with the customer and Technical Authority, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, plus Chartered Engineer status preferred, with experience in regulated environments such as defence or maritime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customer and Technical Authority to understand requirements and provide electrical engineering support.
• Lead the Electrical Discipline, ensuring high-quality delivery and capability development.
• Scope, design and propose modifications to existing assets or new facilities based on customer needs and system limitations.
• Assess and approve technical documentation, ensuring regulatory and safety considerations are addressed.
• Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to align electrical designs with broader infrastructure projects.
• Support planning and execution of installation, commissioning and testing phases as needed.
• Provide technical input to project documentation, risk assessments and progress reporting.
