Thames Water is hiring a DMA Performance Technician based in Bourne End to own a patch of District Metered Areas, monitor leakage, analyse flow and asset data, and deliver measurable improvements to the clean water network.
This field-based role offers autonomy and variety, with 38-hour weeks on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will collaborate with internal teams and contractors, travel between sites, and communicate clearly with customers during planned and reactive works.
Based in Bourne End, the DMA Performance Technician role centres on maintaining healthy District Metered Areas and cutting leakage across clean water networks. Working full time, the successful candidate takes ownership of a designated patch, combining analytical insight with fieldwork to resolve network issues and improve performance. Problem-solving ability, self-motivation and strong organisation are essential, alongside a genuine interest in environmental outcomes. The position offers a salary between £30,175 and £45,000 annually, dependent on skills and experience.
