Job description

Divisions Event Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Divisions Event Administrator to start immediately on a temp-perm basis, with a salary range of £26,869 - £29,182. This position is hybrid, based near Tower Hill.

Who will you be working for?

Our client is an established non-profit membership healthcare organisation.

What will you be doing?
  • Providing administrative support to the Divisions’ Event Managers and the Deputy Head of International, Devolved Nations and Divisions.
  • Undertaking administrative processes for events as instructed by the event manager.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for events.
  • Sending event communications, including speaker invitations, reminders, and confirmations.
  • Monitoring email inboxes, responding to queries, and updating records.
  • Processing delegate and speaker registrations, payments, and refunds using the college database.
  • Producing and delivering promotional emails and marketing materials.
  • Using college social media accounts to promote and publicise events.
  • Preparing event materials such as badges, delegate packs, course materials, and lists.
  • Attending in-person events to provide onsite support.
  • Preparing reports from databases.

  • Excellent administrative skills and experience in a busy, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic team player.
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to handle a high volume of calls.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) for editing and uploading web content.
  • Experience in organising training courses and conferences.
  • Experience using online event and streaming platforms.
