Job summary

Page Executive is seeking a senior finance leader to head the divisional financial control function, overseeing consolidation, reporting, technical accounting, tax and financial controls across a growing international services business.

You will own divisional actuals reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and drive process improvements, governance and close deadlines while partnering with regional finance teams and external auditors.

Qualifications

  • Significant financial control experience within a complex international group.
  • Best-in-class technical accounting across consolidation, group reporting and statutory audit.
  • Experience leading change and transformation programmes across systems, people and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead divisional financial control, including consolidation, reporting, technical accounting, tax and financial controls.
  • Own divisional actuals reporting across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow for group submissions.
  • Prepare and review reporting packs with commentary, variance analysis, KPIs and risks.
  • Develop relationships with regional finance teams and establish governance and deadlines.
  • Oversee working capital and implement best-practice financial management.
  • Lead technical accounting matters and ensure proper documentation standards.
  • Coordinate the consolidated statutory audit and manage external auditors.
  • Improve internal control frameworks and drive remediation.
  • Lead finance workstreams relating to acquisitions, including reporting, controls and cash flow integration.
  • Mentor a specialist finance team and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Job Description
  • Lead the divisional financial control function, encompassing consolidation, reporting, technical accounting, tax and financial controls.
  • Own divisional actuals reporting across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant submissions to group stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review reporting packs, including commentary, variance analysis, KPIs, trends, risks and key business issues.
  • Build strong relationships with regional finance teams and establish robust reporting processes, governance and deadlines.
  • Oversee working capital performance and support the implementation of best‑practice financial management across the business.
  • Act as the lead for technical accounting matters, ensuring appropriate accounting treatments and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate the consolidated statutory audit process and manage relationships with external auditors and senior stakeholders.
  • Review and enhance internal control frameworks, identifying risks and driving remediation where required.
  • Lead finance workstreams relating to acquisitions, including reporting, controls, treasury and cash flow integration.
  • Develop and mentor a specialist finance team, fostering a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
  • Significant financial control experience within a complex international group.
  • Best‑in‑class technical accounting expertise across consolidation, group reporting and statutory audit, with the ability to operate effectively in a multi‑entity environment.
  • Experience of being involved with complex change and transformation programmes, covering systems, people and processes.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to influence finance teams and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience supporting post‑acquisition integration activities would be advantageous.
  • Additional European language skills and experience within professional services environments would be beneficial.

  • Basic salary in the range of £120,000-£150,000, dependent on experience and location.
