Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a broad finance leadership role within a growing, investor-backed organisation. You will own the UK finance function, aligning with senior leadership to drive performance and support a range of growth initiatives across the business.

You will lead a small finance team, oversee financial reporting, planning and control, and collaborate with group finance and operational leadership to enable strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

Working closely with senior leadership, you'll lead a small team, drive performance, and support key growth initiatives across the business.

Description

• Lead financial reporting, planning and control for a growing UK operation.


• Business partner senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight and decision support.


• Manage and develop a small finance team.

• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls.


• Work closely with group finance and operational leadership teams.

Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).


• Previous experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar finance leadership role.


• Strong financial reporting, controls, budgeting and forecasting experience.


• Experience managing or mentoring finance team members.


• Proactive and hands-on approach, comfortable operating within a growing and evolving business.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and support business growth initiatives.
