Financial Controller | PE-backed | Up to £70k + 10% bonus

The role

As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of financial operations across a portfolio of international entities within your region.

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining team management with commercial partnering and technical oversight. You will lead a team of in-country finance professionals while working closely with senior operational stakeholders to support decision-making and performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing a multi-country finance team, driving consistency and high standards
• Overseeing monthly management accounts, including review, validation, and variance analysis
• Ensuring statutory, tax, and audit compliance across jurisdictions
• Supporting group reporting and consolidation
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
• Acting as a trusted business partner to regional leadership, providing financial insight and challenge
• Strengthening financial controls and governance frameworks
• Driving process, systems, and reporting improvements
• Overseeing revenue processes and working capital management

Candidate profile

You are a qualified finance leader with experience operating across multiple entities and geographies, ideally within a mid-market, PE-backed or high-growth environment.

You will bring:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
• Experience managing multi-entity, international finance operations
• Strong grounding in financial control, reporting, and compliance
• A track record of business partnering with senior stakeholders
• Experience leading and developing distributed teams
• A hands-on, adaptable approach suited to a scaling business
• Strong systems and analytical capability (ERP experience preferred)
