Position Details

Field Based (M4 Corridor)

We have an exciting opportunity for a District Operations Manager in the UK. The successful candidate will drive sales and profit targets for our Decorating Centres within the district, motivate teams through Store Operations Managers, and maintain high standards of customer service, presentation, and operational control.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and profit targets to ensure profitability.
• Manage proactively through Store Operations Managers to drive growth and maximize share of wallet.
• Develop sales via customer visits, cold calling, and relationship building, focusing on professional decorators and other business clients.
• Implement the company's vision and strategy through regular meetings and engagement.
• Develop and motivate teams, primarily Store Operations Managers, to manage their teams effectively.
• Control resources in line with budgets to ensure profitability.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Understanding of company and competitor products.
• Effective communication skills with staff and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of EPOS and IT systems.
• Leadership and motivational skills.
• Full UK Driving License (held for at least one year).
• Ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and security procedures.
• Teamwork and independence.
