Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, based in Glasgow, invites applications for a Nurse Team Leader within the Adult Community Nursing Leadership Team. You will support the Senior Nurse Manager to ensure safe, effective and person-centred Adult Nursing services with a focus on District Nursing.

The role requires clinical leadership, team collaboration and a commitment to quality improvement, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality community nursing services.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Relevant community nursing experience.
• Relevant clinical leadership experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of delivering safe, effective and person-centred nursing care.
• Understanding of quality improvement approaches within healthcare.
• Ability to provide effective clinical and professional leadership.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality Adult Community Nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Nurse Manager in the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred Adult Nursing services.
• Provide clinical and professional leadership within the community nursing environment, with a specific focus on the District Nursing service.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support the ongoing development and delivery of high-quality community nursing services.
• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to promote effective service delivery and positive outcomes for patients and service users.
