A healthcare organization in Wales is seeking a motivated Team Leader for the District Nursing Team. This full-time role involves managing community staff nurses and providing clinical leadership as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in community nursing and staff management, along with relevant qualifications. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, and applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of language proficiency. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Time 37.5 hours per week, Band 7 Team Leader within the District Nursing Team - Amman / Gwendraeth Cluster within the Carmarthenshire. This role will be for one of the 3 District Nurse teams within the locality, base to be confirmed.
We are looking for a motivated candidate with significant previous community nursing, staff management experience and a specialist practitioner qualification to lead community nursing services into the future.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and leadership of a team of community staff nurses and health care support workers with the support of a Band 6 caseload holder.The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership and work as part of the MDT, in order to meet the needs of the caseload and local population and must be both an experienced clinician and manager of staff.The ability to travel between locations in a timely manner is essential for this post.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
