Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a District Nursing Specialist Practitioner for the 28.5-hour post within the District Nursing Service. You will join a forward-thinking team with a focus on patient-centred care and a supernumerary induction for new starters.

The post emphasises leadership, education and acting as a mentor within an integrated neighbourhood setting, with opportunities to contribute to ongoing service development and professional wellbeing

Qualifications

• Must hold Specialist Practitioner Qualification.
• Experience in district nursing and leadership desirable.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and learning.

Responsibilities

• Manage routine activities of the District Nursing Team.
• Organise workload and staff rotas to meet service demand.
• Develop and mentor students and junior staff to reach potential.
