Join to apply for the Distribution Security Officer role at Amberstone Security.

This position is based in Dunfermline with a pay rate of £12.49 per hour, working an average of 54 hours per week on a shift pattern that includes days, nights, and weekends.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Access Control: Gatehouse and Reception duties, welcoming and assisting visitors, identifying threats, and escalating issues.
2. Loss Prevention: Conducting searches of colleagues and contractors as per company policy.
3. Site Patrols: Performing internal and external patrols to deter criminal activity.
4. Risk Identification: Collaborating with clients to identify risks and reviewing CCTV footage for stock loss investigations.
5. Reporting: Digitally reporting incidents and maintaining detailed, legible reports to assist clients and authorities.
6. Compliance: Adhering to health & safety, equal opportunities, and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid SIA license (essential).
• Ability to provide a full 5-year checkable work or education history.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service orientation and professionalism.

Additional Information:

Previous gatehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Applicants should bring their right to work documents and recent proof of address to interviews.
