Job summary

Warburtons in Wakefield is hiring a part-time Distribution Coordinator to join the Tuscany Park distribution site. The role offers 20 hours per week (Wed–Sat, 08:00–13:00) with a permanent contract and a salary of £15,274 per annum.

Based at Tuscany Park, Wakefield, the position involves rota management, vehicle coordination, fleet data upkeep and routine admin support for the distribution team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Confident using SAP, fleet systems, and document management tools.
• Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
• A self-starter who can prioritise and manage their own workload.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Operator Licence Awareness trained, with knowledge of compliance obligations.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage rota schedules for all teams.
• Coordinate vehicle availability and route allocations.
• Maintain our Fleet Management System and ensure driver data is accurate and compliant.
• Support training and development activities across the Distribution team.
• Build strong relationships with external providers.
• Provide admin and coordination support to the wider Distribution team.
• Compile compliance reports for the site's leadership team.

What You’ll Be Doing

About Us

Our Tuscany Park "super bakery" and distribution depot opened in 2005 and can be found on the outskirts of Normanton at Wakefield Europort. The bakery runs 3 high speed, highly automated manufacturing plants producing products like the famous Toastie, Farmhouse, Danish and Wholemeal and sliced bread rolls.

We have around 500 colleagues at Tuscany Park and 70 colleagues in our Howden depot, who ensure our delicious freshly baked products reach our customers across the UK each day. With some exciting innovation and investment, we're still growing!
