Job summary

Lorien is partnering with a leading UK grocer to appoint a Distribution Centre General Manager for their major distribution centre in Andover. The role will oversee a fast-paced operation with around 400 colleagues, translating strategy into operational excellence across service, safety and performance.

You will lead a high-impact team, drive continuous improvement and build strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and unions while delivering strong financial performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale operational teams.
• Track record of delivering transformational change.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, distribution or retail operations.
• Outstanding leadership and people development capabilities.
• Commercial acumen with experience managing large budgets and operational performance.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build strategic partnerships.

We're partnering with a leading UK Grocer to appoint a Distribution Centre General Manager for their major distribution centre in Andover. This is a high-profile leadership opportunity where you'll take full responsibility for a complex, fast-paced operation serving hundreds of retail locations and leading a workforce of approximately 400 colleagues.

As Distribution Centre General Manager, you will translate business strategy into operational excellence, ensuring the depot delivers outstanding service, efficiency, safety and performance while developing a strong culture of engagement and continuous improvement.
