Job summary

Lorien is partnering with a leading UK grocer to appoint a Distribution Centre General Manager for their major distribution centre in Andover. You will lead a fast-paced operation, directing around 400 colleagues and delivering service, safety and efficiency across hundreds of retail locations.

You will translate business strategy into operational excellence, develop strong engagement cultures and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale operational teams.
• Track record of transformational change within complex environments.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or distribution sectors.
• Outstanding leadership and people development capabilities.
• Commercial acumen with experience managing large budgets and performance.

This is a high-profile leadership opportunity where you'll take full responsibility for a complex, fast-paced operation serving hundreds of retail locations and leading a workforce of approximately 400 colleagues.

As Distribution Centre General Manager, you will translate business strategy into operational excellence, ensuring the depot delivers outstanding service, efficiency, safety and performance while developing a strong culture of engagement and continuous improvement.
