Job summary

Leonard Curtis Recovery Limited is seeking an experienced Business Advisory Manager to support businesses in financial distress, specialising in HMRC arrears, VAT, PAYE and NI challenges. You’ll deliver cash flow solutions, interim consultancy and lender introductions, working with Restructuring & Insolvency, Funding and Legal teams to achieve the best outcomes.

Based in Manchester, we recruit nationally and welcome applicants from across the UK.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in client meetings from initial contact through to appointment and ongoing case management.
• Prepare profit and loss statements and cash flow forecasts to support debt repayment plans for HMRC.
• Draft reports for HMRC negotiations and concise business reviews.
• Liaise with business owners and directors to gather essential financial information.
• Support senior managers in developing tailored cash management strategies for distressed businesses.
• Coordinate with lenders and funders, providing accurate financial projections and documentation.
• Manage a portfolio of client cases with timely progression.
• Assist in day-to-day transaction processes, including information packs and financial analysis.
• Build and analyse financial models and business forecasts to support recommendations.
• Develop relationships with internal teams and external professionals.
