Job summary

Executive Network Legal Limited in Manchester is seeking a Dispute Resolution Solicitor (NQ+). You will work on a mix of contentious and regulatory matters, advising clubs, players and organisations on disputes, arbitration and regulatory investigations.

You'll join an established team, developing your expertise in High Court litigation, sports and media disputes, and client-facing business development opportunities within a specialist practice.

Qualifications

• Newly Qualified through to 4 years' PQE, although exceptional candidates outside this range will also be considered.
• Qualification as a Solicitor with the right to practise in England & Wales.
• Strong academics and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on disputes before specialist dispute resolution and regulatory forums.
• Advise on arbitration and regulatory proceedings, including sporting matters.
• Handle High Court and commercial litigation, including media disputes.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join a highly regarded and growing specialist practice. You'll work alongside experienced lawyers on complex and high-profile matters, gaining exposure to both commercial litigation and specialist dispute resolution work.

The Role

Working as part of an established team of contentious and regulatory lawyers, you will gain exposure to a broad range of interesting and complex matters, including:

• Advising clients on disputes before a variety of specialist dispute resolution and regulatory forums.
• Advising on arbitration and regulatory proceedings, including matters within the sporting sector.
• Handling High Court and other commercial litigation, including media and social media disputes.
• Advising on disciplinary and regulatory investigations.
• Assisting with matters involving misconduct, anti-doping, regulatory breaches and wider integrity issues.
• Advising clubs, players, athletes and agents on a range of contentious matters.
• Working closely with experienced colleagues on high-profile and technically challenging disputes.
• Developing strong client relationships and providing clear, commercially focused advice.
• Contributing to business development initiatives and helping to grow the wider disputes practice.

About You

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors who can demonstrate:

• Qualification as a Solicitor with the right to practise in England & Wales.

• Good experience in Dispute Resolution or a related contentious practice.

Experience within sports or media law would be advantageous, but is not essential. The firm is particularly interested in talented contentious lawyers with the ability and ambition to develop specialist expertise.
