Job summary

Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC in Skipton is seeking a Dispensary Technician (Manufacturing) for the early shift (05:30–14:00, Mon-Fri, with every second Friday off). You’ll support daily production by dispensing raw materials, weighing substances, and ensuring accurate batch documentation within a GMP framework.

You will work as part of the Dispensary Team in the Manufacturing arm, performing prep, material weighing, and safe handling in line with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience with GMP/regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience handling batch documentation and adherence to SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in weighing and dispensing materials.

Responsibilities

• Initial prep of the dispensing bay and full clean downs.
• Weigh and dispense 5–20 raw materials per batch.
• Safely secure solid dose and liquid materials in tamper‑proof cages for manufacturing.
• Cross-check colleagues' work to ensure Right First Time.
