Job summary

Dechra is seeking a Senior Dispensary Technician at its Skipton site in North Yorkshire. You will act as the SME for dispensing operations, ensuring GMP/SOP compliance while guiding a team and maintaining data integrity in batch records.

The role includes coaching staff, managing safety, and coordinating with the Manufacturing Supervisor. The position features a late shift (2pm-10:30pm, Mon-Thurs, plus every other Friday) with a strong emphasis on quality, risk assessment, and continuous

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP production facilities.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge and compliance.
• Experience with Oracle systems.
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
• Excellent communication within production teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for day-to-day dispensing operations.
• Ensure SOP/GMP adherence across paperwork, picking, dispensing, and Oracle.
• Train technicians and deliver shift briefings.
• Promote safety culture and participate in risk assessments.
• Review batch documentation and maintain data integrity.
• Escalate non-conformances and support problem resolution.
• Lead on shopfloor engagement and team coaching.
