Job summary

Superdrug Stores plc in Romsey is seeking a trainee pharmacy assistant to support the pharmacy team with counter sales, stock replenishment, and customer service.

No prior experience required and NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or a keen interest in healthcare will be supported with training. This role offers development opportunities in a busy retail pharmacy.

Join Our Superdrug Pharmacy Team – Whether You're Qualified or Just Starting Out!

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Romsey

Hours: 24 hours -Monday- 9-5pm Tuesday- 1-5pm Wednesday- Day off Thursday- 1-5pm Friday- 9-5pm Saturday- 9-5pm (Will need to work one Saturday in four. When working a Saturday the Friday will be a day off)

Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary

We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
