Job summary

Superdrug is hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant role in Leamington Spa. We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who want to start a career in healthcare and customer service, with full training provided.

This part-time position is 28 hours per week (Mon, Tue, Thu 9:00–16:30 and Sat 10:00–16:00), with pay at £13.15–£14.20 per hour. Benefits include holiday, team discounts, health and wellbeing support, and real-time earnings tracking via Stream.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Location:Leamington Spa (CV32 4BT)

Hours: 28 hours per week - Monday ,Tuesday ,Thursday's (9am - 4:30pm) & Saturday's (10am - 4pm)

Salary: £14.20 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.15 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising

We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
