Job summary

Superdrug Buxton is inviting applications for a part-time Pharmacy role. We welcome qualified Dispensers or those without experience who want to start as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

The 16-hour week runs Monday and Tuesday, 9:00–17:00, with a starting rate of £13.80 per hour for Dispenser or up to £13.00 per hour as a Trainee. We offer great development support, training opportunities, and a collaborative team environment across many UK pharmacies.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or equivalent, or keen interest in healthcare to start as trainee.
• No prior experience required—passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising.

Hours: 16 hours per week, must be able to work full days Monday and Tuesday 9 till 5pm

Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) / Up to £13.00 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)
