Job summary

Superdrug in Daventry is hiring a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant or Dispenser. We welcome applicants from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career with us.

Hours: 12 hours per week, with a full day on Monday and Thursday mornings. Salary: £13.80 per hour (Dispenser) or up to £13.00 per hour (Trainee). We support your development and offer training to help you grow within our pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or equivalent cemented interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career.
• No prior pharmacy experience required, just passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a friendly team.
• Good communication and presentation in person and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver exceptional service across the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensure customers and patients are served with care, efficiency and professionalism.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising in-store areas.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment

We’re Looking For:

• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about learning and open to training in additional services
