Job summary

Two Six Recruitment Limited is seeking a Despatch Packing Assistant in Verwood to support a precision aerospace despatch operation. The role involves packing components, organising shipments and marking parts for traceability in a highly accurate environment.

Full training is provided, ideal for someone attentive, reliable and eager to learn. The position is full-time (39 hrs/week) with a salary of £13.00 per hour, based in Verwood.

  • Ensure all marking is completed accurately and to specification.
  • Record, organise, and maintain stock within the department.
  • Monitor consumable stock levels.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organised working area.
  • Support other departments when required.

Location: Verwood Industry: Precision Engineering (Aerospace) Hours: Full-time, Permanent (39 hrs per week) Salary: £13.00 ph

About the Role A dependable, detail-focused Despatch Packing Assistant is required to support a busy despatch operation within a precision aerospace engineering environment. This hands‑on role involves packing components, organising shipments, and carrying out part marking for aerospace traceability, where accuracy is absolutely essential. Full training is provided, making this a great opportunity for someone with the right attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pack and prepare components for safe, accurate shipment
  • Support and arrange shipping to meet delivery deadlines
  • Carry out part marking using ink, vibro, and dot peen methods
  • Ensure all marking is completed accurately and to specification
  • Record, organise, and maintain stock within the department
  • Monitor consumable stock levels
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organised working area
  • Support other departments when required
