Job summary

METALIS is hiring a Dispatch Operative with a valid FLT licence to support multiple engineering companies in the Sheffield area. The role focuses on accurate picking, packing, and dispatch, with safe movement of materials using a forklift and a regular day shift that moves to a 4 on 4 off pattern. Immediate starts available.

The successful candidate will have FLT experience, strong attention to detail, and reliable teamwork abilities in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent preferred).
• Previous dispatch, warehouse or logistics experience.
• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Loading and unloading vehicles using an FLT.
• Moving materials safely around the warehouse and production areas.
• Checking goods in and out.
• Maintaining stock accuracy and keeping work areas clean and organised.
• Working to health and safety procedures at all times.

Salary: GBP13.24 - GBP13.24 per hour

Days regular, Monday - Friday
Moving to 4 on 4 off (No weekend work)

We are currently recruiting for experienced Dispatch Operatives with valid FLTlicenses to support a number of well-established engineering companies throughout the Sheffield area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dispatch and warehouse experience who is looking for regular day shifts and ongoing work.

The Role

As a Dispatch Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time. You will also be responsible for the safe movement of materials using a Forklift Truck.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles using an FLT
