Job summary

Pertemps Crawley Perms is seeking a Dispatch Operative for a busy construction-focused warehouse. You will pick, pack and dispatch orders with attention to accuracy and speed, meeting tight deadlines in a target-driven environment.

You will work to daily KPIs and ensure stock is correctly recorded. Forklift experience is a plus, and previous construction materials exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, picking, packing & dispatch experience.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution or dispatch environment.
• Experience working to KPIs, productivity targets or picking rates.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work at pace while maintaining quality.
• Forklift/MHE experience is desirable.
• Experience in construction/building materials or similar environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Working to agreed picking rates and daily productivity KPIs.
• Ensuring orders are prepared and ready for dispatch within strict deadlines.
• Maintaining high pick accuracy and a low error rate.
• Checking stock against orders and identifying discrepancies.
• Using warehouse systems/scanners to record stock movements and completed orders.
• Ensuring products are labelled, packaged and prepared for dispatch.
