Job summary

Pertemps Crawley Perms is seeking a Dispatch Operative for a busy construction-focused warehouse. You will pick, pack and dispatch orders with attention to accuracy and speed, meeting tight deadlines in a target-driven environment.

You will work to daily KPIs and ensure stock is correctly recorded. Forklift experience is a plus, and previous construction materials exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, picking, packing & dispatch experience.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution or dispatch environment.
• Experience working to KPIs, productivity targets or picking rates.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work at pace while maintaining quality.
• Forklift/MHE experience is desirable.
• Experience in construction/building materials or similar environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

Dispatch Operative

We're currently recruiting for a Dispatch Operative to join a busy construction-focused warehouse operation. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, pace & reliability are key to ensuring customer orders are picked, packed & dispatched on time.

You’ll be working to clear daily targets and strict dispatch deadlines, so this would suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting things right first time.

The Role

• Picking & packing customer orders accurately & efficiently

About You

• We're looking for someone who has previous warehouse, picking, packing & dispatch experience and is comfortable working to targets & deadlines.
• Previous experience within a warehouse, distribution mor dispatch environment
• Experience working to KPIs, productivity targets or picking rates
• Strong attention to detail & a focus on accuracy
• The ability to work at pace while maintaining quality
• Forklift/MHE experience is desirable but not essential
• Previous experience in construction/building materials/plumbing or similar environment would be advantageous

The Package

• Full-time: 2pm - 11.30pm, offering £29,520 + 15% shift allowance after 6pm
• Shorter-hours option: 5.30pm - 11.30pm, offering £23,000pa + shift allowance after 6pm
• 20 days holiday + BH
