Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking a computer-literate Dispatch Operative to join a busy Hull manufacturing site for night shifts. You will scan product barcodes, log crate contents, attach correct tickets and help plan dispatch while ensuring accuracy and minimal errors.

The ideal candidate will be confident with computers and handheld scanners, highly detail-focused, organised, and able to work independently following established processes.

Qualifications

• This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced dispatch environment.
• Confidence using computers and handheld devices is essential.
• Full training can be provided for candidates with prior dispatch, warehouse or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

Dispatch Operative - Nights

Hull | £12.71-£13.98 per hour

Prestige Recruitment Specialists are recruiting for a computer-literate Dispatch Operative to join our client's team at a busy manufacturing site in Hull.

This role requires excellent attention to detail, confidence using computers and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced dispatch environment.

Your duties will include:

• Scanning product barcodes using a handheld device
• Entering details of the products loaded into each crate
• Producing and attaching the correct ticket to each crate
• Preparing shipment plans ready for dispatch
• Checking all information carefully to prevent errors
• Supporting the wider dispatch team when required

The ideal candidate will:

• Be confident using computers and handheld scanning devices
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be organised and methodical
• Be comfortable working independently and following processes
• Have previous dispatch, warehouse or manufacturing experience, although full training can be provided

Hours and pay:

Night shift: 4:15pm-2:00am

£12.71 per hour until 8:00pm

£13.98 per hour after 8:00pm
