Job summary

Proactive Global currently has an exciting opportunity for a Dispatch Operative to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Kempston. This role involves handling goods in/out, dispatch logistics, packing orders, and ensuring stock accuracy in a fast-paced team setting.

The successful candidate will have dispatch/logistics experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to start ASAP following interview.

• Previous dispatch/logistics experience preferably within manufacturing.
• Happy with physical/manual based work.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Booking in and out of goods/materials
• Dispatch and logistics administration

• Identify stock that is in the wrong location and escalating as required ensure stock levels are controlled throughout the operation
• Picking items for production
• Loading and unloading manually

Position: Dispatch Operative

Salary: £13.20 - £14.88 per hour

Location: Kempston

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Dispatch Operative to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Kempston.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Dispatch Operative to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the Site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Booking in and out of goods/materials
• Dispatch and logistics administration
• Accurately packing and shipping of orders
• Identify stock that is in the wrong location and escalating as required ensure stock levels are controlled throughout the operation
• Picking items for production
• Loading and unloading manually

Additional Info

Hours: 8.00am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
