Job summary

Ryder’s Homemade Bakery is seeking a Dispatch Manager to coordinate packing, order processing, and liaison with drivers and production teams.

You will plan weekly rotas, manage holiday levels, and ensure correct packing materials are available while maintaining strong collaboration across departments.

Candidates must be able to drive and contribute to a family-run, community-focused bakery with a long heritage.

Responsibilities

• packing orders accurately and timely
• accurate and timely processing of customer orders to give to the bakery production teams
• alerting bakery production and driver teams of large orders
• planning weekly rotas that take into account the predicted level of trade by day, season and special events and dates
• managing your team holiday with reference to the level of trade
• ordering the correct level of packing materials and other consumables required by your department
• liaising regularly with the Drivers team to ensure both departments combine well together and assist in each other needs.
