Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Daventry is seeking a Transport Clerk to join our warehouse team. The role supports driver coordination, data accuracy, and compliance across safety and service standards, with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern and two 6:00–18:00 windows.

A permanent full-time position offering a base pay of £28,500 plus shift premium. You will dispatch and debrief drivers, handle paperwork and system entries, and liaise with line managers to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven administrative experience is required.
• Experience working within a Transport Operation is desirable.
• Excellent IT skills with Microsoft packages.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microlise or Taco Master is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for driver queries, escalating issues to first line managers as required
• Maintain accurate data entry and filing in line with compliance and audit requirements
• Support compliance with legal, corporate, and customer requirements for safety, service, and data integrity
• Escalate driver concerns, performance issues, or welfare matters to first line managers as appropriate
• Dispatch and debrief drivers, ensuring all paperwork and system entries are completed accurately and on time
