Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Manchester is seeking a Transport Compliance Administrator to support audits, manage reporting and ensure our fleet, drivers and processes meet high standards.

You will analyse compliance data, maintain records and work with driver hours and operator licence obligations to keep the operation safe, legal and audit-ready.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport compliance or fleet compliance.
• Knowledge of Operator Licence requirements for Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• Experience with audits and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support within transport compliance and auditing.
• Act as primary contact for compliance and audit queries, ensuring timely responses.
• Prepare, maintain and analyse compliance audit data and reporting.
• Utilise fleet and driver management systems to extract and present data.
• Support operator licence obligations, driver compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret customer and business requirements and deliver clear information to stakeholders.

Shift patterns: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Location: Manchester - M32 OUT

We’re looking for a Transport Compliance Administrator with transport compliance experience to support audits, manage reporting requirements and help ensure our fleet, drivers and processes meet the highest standards.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our operation safe, legal and audit‑ready. If you have a strong understanding of operator licence compliance, driver hours regulations and transport auditing, along with an eye for detail and a passion for getting things right, this is an opportunity to put your expertise to work in a global business where compliance is critical to operational success.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Providing comprehensive administrative support within the transport compliance and auditing function.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for compliance and audit‑related queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Preparing, maintaining and analysing compliance audit data, ensuring all reporting requirements are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Utilising fleet and driver management systems to extract, interpret and present operational and compliance data.
• Supporting the management of operator licence obligations, driver compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Interpreting customer and business requirements and delivering clear, insightful information to key stakeholders.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Have previous experience working within a transport compliance, fleet compliance or transport administration environment.
• Possess a strong understanding of Operator Licence compliance requirements for Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• Have good working knowledge of Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive requirements and associated record‑keeping standards.
• Are confident using Microsoft Excel to analyse, manipulate and present compliance data.
• Have excellent attention to detail and are comfortable working with audits, compliance reporting and regulatory processes.
• Can effectively prioritise workloads, work to deadlines and consistently deliver against agreed targets.
