Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a dynamic outreach champion to shape and run the Discovery Den, the UK's first library-led sensory mobile library. You will design routes and stops, liaise with SEND settings and customers, assemble equipment loans and drive the mobile unit.

You will demonstrate equipment on board and assist with troubleshooting as needed. You will deliver outreach and promotional work to celebrate reading and books across all ages, contributing to Warwickshire's vibrant

Qualifications

• Fluency in English required to provide accurate advice to the public.
• Experience delivering outreach and promotional activities for libraries.

Responsibilities

• Create routes and stops for the Discovery Den mobile library.
• Liaise with SEND settings and customers to coordinate visits.
• Put together equipment loans and drive the Discovery Den vehicle.
• Demonstrate onboard equipment and assist with troubleshooting as required.
• Deliver outreach and promotional work and share love of books with all ages.
