Job summary

Royal Devon is seeking a Band 6 Nurse to join the Discharge Hub, coordinating patient flow and delivering direct care to support safe, timely discharges from hospital.

You will deputise for the Clinical Nurse Manager, lead the discharge team, and foster a positive, compassionate working environment that supports staff wellbeing and ongoing development.

This is a fixed term role offering 37.5 hours per week with long days and nights.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Band 6 nurse.
• Ability to deputise for the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Experience coordinating discharge hub activities is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care whilst coordinating and overseeing the team.
• Deputise for the Clinical Nurse Manager to support the Discharge Hub.
• Provide a positive, respectful working environment, acting as a compassionate leader.
