Position Summary

Disability Support Worker Day Program in Maidstone

About Scope

Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short‑term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW.

About the Role

You will play a key role in proactively supporting and empowering our clients to be part of the community, their hobbies, interests and programs and to live independently. This role really requires someone fun and vibrant with a passion for supporting young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Casual position due to new clients joining the program
• Available to work 9am – 1pm across 2–3 days a week (Monday to Friday)
• Support clients with high support needs including manual handling, behaviours, medication administration, PEG feeding and mealtime management
• Engage clients in outdoor/indoor and hands‑on activities such as swimming, sports, art, music, gardening or cooking
• Provide respectful and dignified personal care and daily living support
• Promote independence and inclusion in the community
• Communicate proactively with team members and supervisors to report progress or concerns
• Maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families, colleagues and other service providers

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary packaging up to $15,900 per year tax‑free in addition to your standard tax‑free threshold for salary

Qualifications and Requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance and Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Current Level 1 First Aid & CPR certificate
• Valid Australian Working Rights and an international police check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one year within the last ten years
