Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking a Disability Assessor (Nurse, Physio, OT or Paramedic) in Bristol, England. The role offers a salary of £40,000–£42,000 per year, with hybrid working and fully paid training.

Normal hours are Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm, with a comprehensive benefits package and career development opportunities. The assessor conducts independent assessments for PIP, producing evidence-based reports for the DWP.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional (NMC/HCPC registration required).
• Minimum of one year’s post-registration clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal clinical communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload efficiently.
• Experience working with complex health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments of claimants.
• Produce impartial, accurate, and high-quality written reports using a designated IT system.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and assessment criteria.
• Adhere to professional standards including Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Data Protection, and Risk Management.
