Sales Strategy and Operations Director - UKI Cloud Business

Sales Strategy and Operations is a vital function within Salesforce, partnering with senior leaders to drive profitable growth at scale. The team focuses on setting strategic priorities, implementing long-term GTM strategies, establishing operational processes, managing transformational projects, and facilitating change management across countries, segments, and clouds.

The Strategy and Business Operations team is a high-performance unit essential to Salesforce UKI's success, serving as the source of growth, passion, and drive.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Sales Strategy & Operations Director for the UKI Cloud Business to lead the next phase of growth and act as a trusted advisor to the SVP UKI Cloud Sales and the leadership team. This role reports to the Head of Sales Strategy & Operations UKI and supports the SVP UKI Clouds.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with the UKI SVP Cloud leader to analyze business performance using data-driven insights and provide strategic recommendations.
  2. Drive strategy, planning, and operations for Prime (Digital, Tableau) and Specialist Cloud Sales (Slack, Service, Revenue Cloud, Commerce Cloud).
  3. Establish governance frameworks including KPIs, reporting, QBRs, and Cloud Boards.
  4. Manage the operational model and cadence, including forecasts and business reviews.
  5. Define and implement go-to-market strategies, including segmentation, planning, headcount, and quotas.
  6. Lead strategic projects to enhance long-term business performance.
  7. Ensure optimal allocation of resources and adherence to procedures and quality standards.
Data and Stakeholder Engagement

The role involves extensive analysis of sales data and stakeholder discussions. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced environment.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Analyze business health through key performance metrics and recommend actions.
  • Partner with senior sales leaders to drive business planning and execution.
  • Manage teams aligned with specific cloud portfolios.
  • Oversee reporting and communication with senior leadership.
  • Craft executive presentations and strategic recommendations.
  • Enhance data sources and reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on go-to-market initiatives.
  • Participate in strategic projects and transformational initiatives.
  • Become a subject matter expert in customer-facing meetings.
