Job summary

Talbots Law in the West Midlands is seeking an accomplished Residential Property Solicitor to join as a Director, leading the Private Residential Property Department and shaping its future growth. You will be responsible for leadership, technical excellence and commercial strategy to deliver ongoing success.

You will build relationships with estate agents, introducers, developers and other partners, promote our services and convert relationships into sustainable opportunities for Talbots Law.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor specialising in Residential Property with broad transactional knowledge.
• Experience leading legal professionals and developing others.
• Proven ability to build relationships with referrers and introducers.
• Strong business development skills with confidence to engage estate agents and developers.
• Commercial awareness and leadership to drive growth in a private residential practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership, mentoring and support to Solicitors, Conveyancers and Paralegals.
• Contribute to strategic direction, performance and growth of the department.
• Build and strengthen relationships with estate agents, introducers and developers.
• Develop referrer relationships and establish new sources of work.
• Identify commercial opportunities and areas for future growth in residential property.
• Act as a senior technical point of contact for complex matters.
