Job summary

Talbots Law is seeking an experienced Residential Property leader to head our Stourbridge team. You will supervise Conveyancers, Paralegals and Trainees, guiding complex matters and developing client relationships to drive growth in our residential property offering.

You will join an award-winning department, leveraging a strong regional presence and cross‑office collaboration to deliver high-quality service while shaping future success for the team in Stourbridge.

Qualifications

• Three+ years’ experience managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
• Experience supervising, mentoring or developing colleagues
• Ability to create a supportive, accountable and collaborative environment
• Excellent client-care and relationship-building skills with estate agents and introducers
• Strong organisational, commercial and problem-solving skills with ability to manage priorities
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements, case-management systems and the Land Registry Portal

Responsibilities

• Leading, supporting and developing a team of Conveyancers, Paralegals and Trainees through supervision, coaching and guidance
• Managing a residential conveyancing caseload including freehold, leasehold, remortgages, transfers of equity and shared ownership
• Overseeing workflow, file allocation and team performance to meet service, financial and operational targets
• Acting as senior technical point of contact for complex matters while maintaining compliance
• Building relationships with clients, estate agents, introducers and other professional contacts to grow our local presence
• Collaborating with the wider department to improve client service and promote efficient, tech-enabled workflows
